Director’s Bio

After graduating in Film and Still Photography from Chulalongkorn University in 2007, Chayanop worked as a flight attendant for Thai Airways before resigning to pursue filmmaking. His award-winning short films led to his directorial debut, *SuckSeed* (2011), a popular coming-of-age story about a high school rock band. Following this success, he directed the romantic comedy *May Who?* (2015), which was well-received both critically and commercially. In 2017, he co-directed the segment *Love at Sundown* for the acclaimed film *A Gift*. According to the producer, “He always comes up with creative and extraordinary ideas—fresh and energetic.”
