Director’s Statement
Throughout the process of growing up, “sex” remains a taboo within both family and society. By portraying the tension between the naturalness of bodily change and imposed shame, as well as the individual’s confusion under repression, the film explores how sexual shame is formed during adolescence and how it leaves a lasting impact. The story is drawn from personal experience and echoes the growth journeys of many others.
