  • Workshops (You need to use your pass to book seats for this event at cinema’s website)

  • Director’s Q&A: interactions with selected filmmakers (No need to reserve seats for these events; the Q&A sessions will follow certain film screenings. Remain in your seats after the screening to participate in the director's Q&A.)

  • Complimentary Chinese New Year and International Women’s Day celebration activities throughout the weekend

Director’s Q&A:

We will release the full schedule of the director's Q&A on-site. Please be aware that the Q&A format is recorded in video or is delivered in person, and is subject to changes. We’ve prepared the questions in advance for the directors.

Indoor & outdoor activities are free to the public: 

  • 6 March, Friday morning : A guided hiking tour starting from the Kendal area, the gateway to the beautiful Lake District. Limited spaces available; some hiking experience is required. Further details and requirements see here

  • Chinese New Year celebration events will be updated soon! The time of these activities organised by the local community is still pending. Please arrive at the festival venue to learn more about these events.
